Webkinz toys originally released by Ganz company on April 29, 2005 have been one of the most popular toys online. They have been one of the best seller toys in both eBay and Amazon, the two popular and great online shopping stores.
The toys are akin to many other small plush toys. However, each of the toy has a unique “Secret Code” attached which allows access to the “Webkinz World” website where user can get virtual version of the toy.
There are so many things you can actually do with the toys. If you finally get an online version of a certain toy in the Webkinz World, you will get the chance to play online games, adopt new pets, answer general knowledge questions, and join daily activities which will give you the chance to earn money called KinzCash. You can then spend your KinzCash at the W Shop where you can purchase items like furniture for your toy’s room.
Items that can be purchased in the online world are rare and exclusive. Some are for free and can be obtained by registering other Webkinz accessories purchased in the real world. But some should be purchased and first would require you to develop a friendship with the Curio Shop owner.
Some items are also collectible. Like for an instance, recipes that are given away through cookbooks or one of the TV Shows called The Secret Chef. You can also get some gems but can only be mined at the Curio Shop once a day. A full set of gems are turned into the Webkinz Crown of Wonder.
Aside from the items you can enjoy in the online world, you can also earn yourself some new friends and play some games with them. A lot of kids are registered online so you probably can meet a hundred or more. You can also get the chance to earn some great prizes, and coupons.
However, Webkinz toys should be played under supervision of parents. Some kids tend to forget about their homework and cannot be stopped from playing. They tend to overuse the toys and become addicted to them.
