Mobi Mobicam A/V Monitoring System Review

I received baby monitors on my baby shower, maybe around three or four, however these are all audio monitors. I have no problems with that, especially with this brand that I love so much for it really serves its purpose. It was all great until my baby turned six months old. He’s been moving a lot since and trying out new things. I thought this time I need a video monitoring system which allows me to see if he’s safe on his crib or his playpen. Among the many brands in the market, I bought the Mobicam Audio-Video Monitoring System.

I never thought having a video monitor could be this wonderful. I mean, before with audio monitors, every time I hear my baby cry, I will come racing to the baby room to check what’s going on only to find out the baby was crying only because he was not able to get his toy or was irritated because he could not remove his socks. This time with Mobicam, I can clearly see the real deal. It is also fun watching him play and enjoy his toys as I finish all the things I must do for the day. I am a work-at-home mother and so busy at that, and most of the time looking at the monitor and see my baby makes me relaxed and recharged. Most of all, I can monitor if he’s climbing the crib or putting something in his mouth–new tricks of his that really drive me nuts.

I have no complaints with this product ever since I bought it. Setting up is quick and easy. The monitor is wide enough to let me clearly see my baby. The picture is clear and precise. At times it gets static-y but it lasts for just a couple of seconds and its back to normal. The audio is crystal clear and I can hear my baby breathing while he’s asleep. The sharpness of the picture does not change on dark rooms because it has a night vision feature. Once my baby sleeps, I turn off the video and the audio remains. If I hear any movements, I simply just turn on the monitor again to check if something is bothering his sleep or he just changed positions. There is no problem encountered even if it is very near my laptop where I do my job. And the best feature for me is the internet kit. My husband who always travels gets to see his baby from home via the internet. That alone is perfectly awesome!

I have friends and relatives who are expecting and I am planning to give this Mobicam as a gift. I am sure they will be grateful to me for bringing a wonderful audio-video monitor to their lives.
