I certainly know that making money from the comfort of your own home is something that millions of people are dreaming about. But truthfully, its not as difficult as you may think it is. Probably the most popular way of doing it, is with eBay.
I think one of the reasons that so many people turn to eBay is due to the fact, that the site gets so much traffic every single day with customers who are eager to buy.
It also helps that eBay may be the most addictive website anywhere online. I think it has to do with the auction format. People just love the excitement of trying to outbid others to win their product. Theyll come back to ebay just for that reason alone.
Its just so hard to ignore the sheer amount of buyers that are on eBay at any given point and time. With these kind of figures, obviously its a whole lot easier to start making money than if you had to start your own website.
I cant even begin to tell you what kind of advantage this gives to a new seller. With the tools that eBay provides, the learning curve is greatly reduced.
I would say the only negative things that eBay has going for it are the fees. You do have to pay both eBay and PayPal fees. Also, eBay does change both their rules and regulation quite a lot, and that is something you will have to keep your eye on.
However, even if you add up all the negatives, there is still no comparison. The massive amount of positives greatly outweigh the few negatives. Im not going to state that there arent obstacles you will have overcome, but if you consider what business owners who run bricks and mortar businesses have to deal with, its as easy as pie.
So, if you want to get started, I recommend that you jump into this feet first. Take a course from somebody that you know you can trust. Also if you want to make some quick cash, you could always start selling things around your home, so you can get used to logistics of eBay.
