Government Auctions - How to Out-eBay Long Time eBayers

Auctioning off merchandise on eBay has been recognized as one of the best ways to sell products and run a lucrative business online. A few years ago it was quite easy to make money this way, however, recently eBay has been increasingly competitive with sellers, making it difficult to track down items that are unique and inexpensive enough to make a decent profit from. When you use an online supplier, you have a disadvantage compared to other eBayer’s, because many receive volume discounted pricing on items that you would need to compete against.

Let me recommend a method that would allow you to make more money then veteran eBayers. There are millions of items that the government acquires through diverse means such as bankruptcies, defaulted taxes, repossessed items, unclaimed items or government surplus that they simply want to quickly get rid of. You can purchase these items either online from government web sites or from live government auctions held locally across the US and Canada. Because the government has a zero cost basis for these items, they are not focused on making a profit, so this allows you to buy merchandise for much less then what anyone would expect.

Purchasing products at government auctions means you are buying goods that are not only distinctive but are greatly discounted as well. Government auctions provide a broad range of items that complement eBay including items such as jewelry, electronics, office equipment, etc. Many of the items are offerered in bulk or larger quantities which allows for a faster eBay set-up for the items. To provide an example, at a government auction I recently attended somebody purchased 11 ATM cash machines for $46 each that they sold for $468 a piece and someone else bought 51 watches for $400 which they auctioned off on eBay for a 700 percent profit.

Now if you haven’t sold anything on eBay I would suggest going there and spending 15 minutes creating a free eBay account (see link below) and entering a fabricated sale item (simply follow eBay’s prompts). Of course you won’t actually list this item. This quick implementation will show you now comfortable it is to sell items on eBay.

Then visit the Government Auction Review Site below and check which government auction site(s) are the best options to find government auctions and items listed at each (online and live auctions). Once you learn of the government auction site that will grant access to virtually unlimited items for you to resale, then join that site.

Now all that is left to do is simply search for online government auction items and/or to go a local live auction. Then purchase the sharply discounted items of interest and place them for sale in eBay to make a healthy profit. eBay’s world wide viewership now has access to observe and purchase all of your products.

Congratulations, you have just consummated what will prove to be a very profitable work-at-home career.
