Another thing to consider is contact information. Is there a phone number, an email, or an address listed? If you can’t get in touch with them, then it probably is best to move on.
Check to make sure that their listings cover not only local police and sheriff auctions, but state, and federal as well. If the site doesn’t list all these types of auctions, then that’s a good sign that it’s legitimate. Thoroughly research any site before you give money to them.
